A new dark aluminum Space Black color for the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M3 Pro and M3 Max CPUs was revealed by Apple at its “Scary Fast” presentation in October.
The new MacBook Pro in Space Black is described by Apple as having “a gorgeous dark aluminum finish, with a breakthrough anodization method that resists fingerprints.” The enclosure is made of a specially formulated alloy that is made entirely of recycled aluminum and is hailed as being “very durable.”
While the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M3 is only available in Space Grey and Silver, the M3 Pro and M3 Max variants are also available in Silver.
Starting at $1,999 and $2,499 for the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M3 Pro chips, respectively, and $3,199 and $3,499 for the models with M3 Max chips, respectively, are the starting prices for these models. Next week, MacBook Pro models equipped with the M3 Pro processor will go up for pre-order; models with the M3 Max chip will be released later in November.
