Tech In Ghana Conference 19, Shaping Ghana Tech Ecosystem
Okay, let me take your mind back to last year Tech In Ghana 18 the Accra Edition, well if you were present at last year’s edition but if you weren’t hoping you were able to grace the Tech In Ghana 19 Accra Edition. For those who made it from last year’s edition to 2019 will notice that Tech In Ghana 19 was a huge upgrade!
I have to admit we fifty7tech didn’t feel like being part of this year’s Accra Edition and not because of anything but had a lot to do at school, talk of exams and so many things. Fast forward we made it to Day 1 of the Tech in Ghana conference, and the exhibition space had exhibitors like visa Ghana, jumo, mtn Ghana, kudiGo, zeepay, emp–verify, blueSPACEAfrica, etc. showing products and services they offered to the conference attendees. After spending some time at the exhibitors, the time was set for the event to kick off. Two Keynote Speech from His Excellency Iain Walker (British High Commissioner to Ghana) then followed by Honorable Vincent Sowah Odotei (Deputy Minister For Communications) officially commenced the Accra Edition.
the 2019 Accra edition raised the bar for a tech conference in Ghana
Followed by a series of presentations and discussions on Ghana’s National Agenda and Digital Identities, Fintech, Driving Innovation in the Ecosystem through Policy and so much more. The highlight of the Day 1 conference for me was the Break Out Sessions (Global Collaboration) where I joined a team that was led Fleur Tchibota of Africa 50, Ammin Youssouf who’s the Founder & CEO of SocialAfrobytes. We read a tweet from an attendee saying “the 2019 Accra edition raised the bar for a tech conference in Ghana” and we couldn’t agree more. Even though I was only present for the Day 1 I was impressed with what I witnessed and we can boldly say “Ghana’s Tech Ecosystem Is on the Right Pay”
Akosua Annobil, the brain behind Tech In Ghana 19 Accra Edition Kudos to you for helping to shape Ghana’s Tech Ecosystem. Ghana ?? is proud of You ?
