Heads Up, You’re About to pay more for Apple Music Subscription

Apple raises the price of Apple Music subscriptions for students in many countries.

 

Apple has quietly raised the price of an Apple Music membership for college students in a number of countries. The firm emailed the students to let them know that the price of their subscription will be slightly increased going forward.

 

 

According to the findings by MacRumors, the price change will only affect student subscribers of Apple Music in a select number of countries, including but not limited to Australia, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, India, South Africa, and Indonesia, Israel, and Kenya. The price change is not widespread.

“We appreciate you choosing to subscribe to Apple Music. We wanted to inform you of an anticipated change to this subscription, which can be found in the following: “a message sent by Apple to Apple Music student subscribers is read here. An email sent by Apple to a client in South Africa informed them that the company will be increasing the price of their membership from USD 1.49 per month to USD 1.99 per month.

Apple gives students a reduced rate for the Apple Music individual plan in comparison to the standard rate that the firm charges for individuals.

In comparison to the regular price of $9.99 per month, Apple Music is available at a discounted rate of $4.99 per month for students enrolled in college in the United States.  

 

Customers also have the option to purchase Apple Music as part of a larger package known as Apple One, which includes a number of other Apple services and begins at $14.95 a month.
