Tech in Ghana 2018 the Accra edition, Just as we expected, this year’s #TechInGh18 was a success! And we cannot hide the fact that the Tech Ecosystem in Ghana is promising and we can be proud that we are starting on the right path. But there’s lots of work to be done. I must commend the Founder of TechInGhConference Ms. Akosua Annobil for bringing such initiative to her home soil and contributing to the growth of Ghana’s Tech Ecosystem
Published here about a month ago “The event Tech In Ghana conference once again is set to bring together the industries best CEO’s, Managing Directors, Government Officials, Founders and Co-Founders of Startups, Entrepreneurs, Tech enthusiast, etc. all under one roof at the Accra Digital Center with one agenda, discussing technology and its impact in Ghana ”. I did not fail to deliver!
I arrived at the event on Tuesday morning and one can easily sense the excitement and eagerness of the audience wanting to know what the 2018 Edition has in store for them
The marketplace featured the likes of KudiGO, Zeepay, EcoBankGhana, WorldRemit, ECampus, and IPMC, etc.
To commence the event was a welcome address by the MD of Accra Digital Centre Mr. Eric Ofosu Nkansah and then follow-up with a keynote address from Honorable Vincent Sowah Odotei of the Ministry Of Communication.

The panel discussion featured topics like Fintech: Mobile Money, Payments & Cash-Lite Ghana, Local/Global Tech Collaboration Case Study, Beyond Accra: What impacts are hubs having on tech communities outside of Ghana’s Capital?, How is Technology Impacting Business For Agriculture?, Investment: Setting the tone for local businesses to attract global investments, Connecting the Unconnected, The Next Tech Generation and so much more?
