In India, prices have been reduced for the Vivo Y16 and Y02T. On Tuesday, September 26, Vivo announced a Rs. 500 price reduction on both smartphones from their original price. Both phones, which are both inexpensive Vivo phones, have comparable features.
The MediaTek Helio P35 SoC powering the Vivo Y16 and Vivo Y02T is paired with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. The Vivo Y02T has a single 8-megapixel rear camera, while the Vivo Y16 sports a dual 13-megapixel rear camera configuration.
Vivo Y16 and Vivo Y02T price in India (revised)
Vivo posted on X (previously Twitter) to announce the price reduction for the Vivo Y16 and Vivo Y02T smartphones. The base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model of the Vivo Y16 is now only Rs. 10,499, and the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model is only Rs. 11,999. The 64GB and 128GB storage options of the phone were initially priced at Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 12,499, respectively.
Vivo Y02T and Vivo Y16 Features and Specifications
With the exception of the camera department, the specifications of the Vivo Y02T and the Vivo Y16 are practically identical. The 6.51-inch screen on both of these gadgets has an HD+ resolution. These smartphones’ display panels feature an 82.5% screen-to-body ratio and 270 PPI pixel density. Both smartphones use an octa-core Helio P35 processor from MediaTek along with an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU as its power source. These gadgets include 4GB of RAM. In terms of operating systems, these smartphones ship with FuntouchOS 13 installed on top of Android 13.
The Y0T has a single 8MP camera for imaging, but the Y16 has a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera. The front-facing 5MP camera on both devices is present. These gadgets have 5,000mAh batteries that can handle 10W charging.
