Apple’s mobile payments platform is called Apple Pay. Apple has used the Apple sign “” followed by “Pay” as the service’s name, similar to how it did with the Apple Watch, albeit it also goes by the name “Apple Pay.”

This platform enables users to use the NFC chip in their iPhones to pay for goods and services in physical businesses.



With the Apple Watch, Apple Pay also extends to the iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, and iPhone 5s. To use Apple, Pay with one of these devices, a paired Apple Watch is required to make the payment.



This is made possible through the NFC chip included in the Apple Watch. The Apple Watch can also make payments when paired with newer iPhones, so you don’t need to pull your phone out to use the payments service.



Apple Pay is accessible online on devices running iOS 10 or macOS Sierra or later, and users can make one-tap transactions within apps that have incorporated the Apple Pay API.

How to set up Apple Pay on Apple Watch

You must first launch the Watch app on your iPhone in order to configure Apple Pay on the Apple Watch. Make sure the My Watch tab is selected (bottom left). Go to Wallet & Apple Pay > Tap Add Card by scrolling down.

Your bank will validate your details just like the iPhone does. You might have to offer more proof once more. Your Apple Watch will notify you when your card is ready for Apple Pay.





How to use Apple Pay with Watch?

On your Apple Watch, double-click the button adjacent to the Digital Crown to start Apple Pay. The phrase “Hold Near Reader to Pay” will appear on your Apple Watch screen along with your default credit card.



You may then put your watch up to the payment terminal, and a pulse and beep will let you know whether your transaction was successful.
