In February 2022, Oppo released the Oppo Pad, the company’s first tablet. The Oppo Pad Air and Oppo Pad 2 followed. We now know that the Chinese company may soon release the Oppo Pad Neo, a new tablet that has been approved by Thailand’s NBTC.
Prior to its release, a new OPPO Pad made a stop at the Thai regulator, NBTC. The “Tablet PC” features a series-first suffix that frequently alludes to a cheap nature, yet its most recent leak indicates the device’s independent connectivity. It’s possible that OnePlus will also sell the same product under a different brand.
OPPO was discovered to be developing a second tablet that will go on sale in 2023. Since it is termed the Pad Neo rather than a second-generation Air version, it may intend to offer more than just inexpensive entertainment when it makes its appearance.
In fact, when it launches, the OPPO Pad Neo (or OPD 2303) may put up a fight against the future Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 or Motorola Moto Tab G84. Even the flagship Pad 2 cannot use 4G or LTE; therefore, its ability to do so suggests that it may be considered mid-range.
In that case, one could ask if this new slate would have much in common with the rumored OnePlus Pad Go, which appears to be focused more on enduring screen-on time than flashy and adaptable connection specifications.
The OPPO Pad Neo’s image as another 144Hz display powerhouse is in question because the rest of its specifications are unknown. However, if it actually announced soon, it might be guaranteed of the OEM’s new camera-heavy industrial design.
