Alternatively, you may take advantage of the Air Link function in Quest 2. Open the Quest PC application, choose “Devices” from the menu on the left, and then “Add Headset” – just like you would with a Link Cable – to complete the setup.

However, this time, pick Air Link as your connection (Wireless). The next screen will tell you to go to the Experimental Features section of your Quest 2’s Settings. These characteristics aren’t nearly as hazardous as their namesake implies. Consider them to be more like functions that are still in beta testing – they haven’t been completely optimized yet and may cause minor performance drops while in use, but they won’t cause anything to malfunction.

Choosing the Link Cable is your best option if you want the most solid connection available. The cable connection is fast and will not be affected by the speed of your Wi-Fi connection.
However, there are several disadvantages to utilizing the connection, including the fact that you must spend more money on an additional accessory and that you lose the independence provided by the Quest 2’s all-in-one design. If you choose to use Air Link, you can avoid these problems, but this option is only practical if you have a strong Wi-Fi connection.
